Rella’s Easter Egg Hunt —Ostereiersuchen— 2026

JOIN US! Every year for the past five years, we will gather again for a fun Easter Egg Hunt in Central Park.

We will have various stations where the kids can engage in fun games (e.g., Eierlaufen, Sackhüpfen, etc.). Once all the points are collected, they can start the Egg Hunt for their very special Easter Gift that the “Osterhase” hid for them.

We will also offer light refreshments for the whole family.

Rella’s 15th Annual Laternenlauf

Bring your whole family and join us for our 15th Annual Rella’s Spielhaus Laternenlauf on Sunday, November 8, 2026. As in past years, we celebrate this beautiful German, Swiss, and Austrian tradition in Central Park.

When: 5:00 - 6:30 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2026
Where: Tarr Family Playground (100th St. and Central Park West)

Suggested donation to help cover event costs:
$10 per child, $5 per adult — cash only.

Lanterns & candles:
Lanterns will be available for $15 and electric candles for $2, while supplies last (cash only).

Program highlights: Our beloved musician friends will lead us in singing the classic Laternen songs. Together with the children, we’ll share the story of St. Martin. Hot chocolate will be waiting for everyone when we return to the playground.
