Soccer Afterschool - Upper West Side
Class description: Rella’s Wednesday Fußball Aftercare is the perfect opportunity for your child to have a first fun encounter with the game of soccer while she is cared for by a licensed Early Childhood educator. In addition, your child’s German will greatly improve as the class is conducted in German only!
When you drop your child off at Rella’s, there will be a period of free play followed by a hearty snack. Then the Soccer Aftercare Class will put on their soccer gear and head out to Central Park. There, Coach Linda will start the training with stretching. Ball drills follow, and then obstacle courses.
Then goal-shooting practice starts, followed by the children’s favorite time: a game against Coach Linda!
(If it rains, the class will take place at Rella’s Spielhaus. Instead of actual soccer practice, the children will read books about soccer and will learn more about its history and rules. )
